With Holly’s leadership on the current board, Citrus County was just named the 5th best place to retire in Florida, based on our low tax burden, social opportunities, and quality health care. This is the second year in a row (2023 and 2024) that Citrus County has been ranked #5 in Florida. We truly live in paradise, and with continued strong leadership, we will remain the place “Where nature and community thrive.”
